South Sudan Women United (SSWU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, human rights, and humanitarian efforts to alleviate human suffering. Our mission is to support women and children affected by war and natural disasters. We focus on women's empowerment, protection against gender-based violence (GBV), Child protection and girl child education, youth mentorship, and peacebuilding. Over time, we have developed into a well-recognized organization that implements both short- and long-term resilience programs, fostering hope and optimism for the future.

We exist to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized women and children especially those forced to flee their homes from human right abuses, conflict, and climate related disasters through advocacy, fundraising and the delivery of services.
